Our new hospital: A dream of a lifetime, with ambition, awareness and years of practice on the ground, that something had to be done to give a chance to a huge number of patients who can not afford quality medical treatment. A dream come true because today we have the pleasure of being able to work in our new medical structure, in particular to its development, its procedure of commissioning and opening
After having been the winner in June 2018 of the BCV (Banque Cantonale Vaudoise) 2018 Solidarity Fund, the foundation is now in the crucial phase of opening the structure. We plan to be open in January 2019, 24 hours a day. The opening ceremony will taking place around the January 23rd, 2019 (to be confirmed…).
This spreadsheet is the 2019 annual budget of our hospital. It takes into account all positions envisaged and it is imagined for an optimal exploitation of our new hospital, for one full year. This is our first budget based on attendance of over 1,000 patients/month supported and more than 30 local employees.

We have no debt, the building is belongs to the Foundation all the medical equipment and the development of the structure is fully paid. That’s why we can affirm that almost 95% of our expenses are dedicated in the only self-help goals and socio-medical actions. Unique…
Sources of funding: The goal, of course, is to provide free medical care to all those in need, as we have been doing for years. For the others, those who participate in the payment of care (about 20%), the profits will be entirely for the benefit of all those who can not pay because they are poor. Others source of funding: 10% are donations on site, 3% are the profits of meals sold on site.
What it does is that we miss about 67% of funding for our 2019 budget, in order to be able to work and provide free medical care to the population in need. The Swiss foundation needs help to fund the operation part of the structure. It doesn’t receive any subsidies from Swiss Confederation or from the Cantons. Most of our income comes from private donations, from the BCV for the hospital equipment phase and from the Fair Warung Balé (our social restaurant). The operational of the structure, will also provide resources… But not enough!
That’s why we’re asking for help. We know we need a “push” to start the activity, ensure its success, and provide free medical care to those in need.

“Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make a change.” Thank you so much for your great support and your gesture in favor the New Hospital, Medical Center of the Fair Future Foundation. My name is Alex Wettstein and I wish to talk to you here (in french, en français), through these few little movies.
We need all of you to complet our 2019 budget for our new Hospital. To give FREE medical, surgical treatments: Emergency and ambulance services, hemodialysis, USG and Doppler, obstetric, physiotherapy, laboratory, diseases preventions, STI’s preventions and many others services… We need you to complete our 2019 budget to care thousands needy people in 2019.
This amount of CHF.203,000.- will help us to give free health and medical care to over thousands of people for 2019. It’s including comprehensive care with state-of-the-art equipment, highly qualified medical staff and a full follow-up during medical treatment. Hundreds of children and young adults suffering from serious illnesses that require special knowledge and treatment simply have no chance of receiving treatment without our new medical structure, 100% funded and created by the foundation.
Dear friends, 100% of your donation, will be used by the Foundation to care people in need to fund +/- thousands of medical treatments/year here, at the new foundation hospital.
